Bio
Joe is Associate Editor at Car Design News, and also a visiting lecturer at the Royal College of Art in London. He has lectured across the world on the future of the car, and writes for a number of other publications including Wired, Pocket-Lint and BusinessWeek.
Joe completed an MPhil in Vehicle Design at The Royal College of Art in 2008. After graduating, he spent 18 months working with Ford of North America on a social media-based project that focused on the firm's sustainability and design strategies. He is also a consultant with Car Design Research, a unique consultancy firm working with the global automotive design industry on their research programmes and design strategies.
The main focus of Joe's own research is the role of the digital world in how we move around, and the role that the personal vehicle will play in the city of the future.
