Bio
Born in London, Mark joined GM in 2002 as Director of Exterior Design and has been Vice President of Design, GM Europe since June 1st, 2007.

He has responsibility for the design of all Opel/Vauxhall vehicles and heads the GM Europe Design organisation, which is located in Rüsselsheim, Germany.

He served in a series of Chief Designer positions at Ford Motor company before joining General Motors in 2002 and has since been instrumental in developing the new Design language for Opel/Vauxhall, "Sculptural artistry meets German precision". He was responsible for the design of new models such as the Insignia, new Astra GTC, ZafiraTourer, Merivaand all the next generation Opel/Vauxhall's. In addition, he also lead the Exterior Design of Saab vehicles from 2004 to 2009, which included the new Saab 9-5, 9-5 station wagon,9-4X and the 9-X concept cars.
Education / Experience
Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honours in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Arts degree in Automotive Design from the Royal College of Art in London.
