Bio
Before Friedhelm took over his current responsibility as Director Advanced Design for GM Europe Design, he led the Design department of the Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center Co., Ltd. (PATAC) in Shanghai, GM's automotive engineering and design joint venture with SAIC.
Friedhelm was Global Compact Car Design Director with GM Europe and Chief Designer for Meriva and Astra before moving to China.
Prior to his start at GME Design, Friedhelm worked as industrial designer in the product development team at frog design in Tokyo from 1988-1991.
