Awarded to the single best design, is a paid internship at Opel’s design studios in Rüsselsheim,

The finalists

The top three entries will be the finalists.

These three designs will be judged from all the entries when the competition closes on 10 December.
Their designers will then be invited to work in CAD software (support will be given!) with one of the
competition partners to develop a final motion graphic of their work.

The three videos of the finalists will be displayed on the Opel/Vauxhall stand at the 2011 Geneva motor show.

One of them will be announced as the winner.

First 10 entries will receive a prize prize2

When entries open, to encourage you to get going quickly, we'll be offering six-month subscriptions to Car Design News for the first 10 entries loaded to this site.

The best contribution to the community

... will also receive a prize

Once the competition has closed in December, the person who is judged to have made the most contribution to the online community and interactivity of the competition over its two months’ span will
receive a full year’s subscription to Car Design News.

You need not have made an entry to win this prize.

Publicity for all winners

All these students and their work will be publicized to the global professional design community on Car Design News, and by media partners of the competition.

That’s a great way to kick-start your career!
