Competition Progress
Only five days left!
It's been a long road, but we're now rounding the final corner of the CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition with just 5 days left to complete your second-round entries and post them online for final judging!I'm sure that the realities of a busy autumn at college are keeping things interesting for all competitors, but remember that this competition is a fantastic way to not only make a name for yourself, but also to win of the four internships that GM has up for grabs.
While you're home enjoying your turkey and stuffing this week, don't forget to refine the designs from the first round and upload them to the site. There's been so much great work so far in the competition, but we're sure there's more out there waiting to blow us away. For those of you whose designs haven't been chosen for the second round, be sure to comment and encourage your fellow students to keep working!
The judges will be gathering next week for the final judging, so there's no time like the present to post some new work, get some fresh feedback, and upload a final revised design that will be worthy of a spot among GM's designers in Warren.
So good luck to all of the second-rounders, and happy Thanksgiving to all of the US students.

Keep up the good work!
Hi guys,First of all thank you for registering for the 2012 CDN-GM Interactive Design Competition. It's great to see so many of you at this stage of the contest. I'm sure you'll agree that, thanks to our partnership with General Motors and our sponsors, we've got a really exciting contest on our hands.
Whether you win or not one thing I'm certain of is that you'll learn a great deal and hopefully build on your professional networks.
Remember that at the initial stage we really want to see your design thinking. Don't worry if you haven't yet submitted any flashy renders, it's the core of your ideas that we're most interested in at this stage.
So keep your ideas flowing, remember there's no such thing as a bad idea and encourage and critique your fellow designers to make this the best CDN-GM competition yet!
