Bio
I received my BA degree from Hong-Ik University in Seoul, Korea in 1995 and my MA degree from the Royal College of Art in London, UK. I began my career with Daewoo Motors Company as an exterior designer in Seoul, Korea in 1995. After two years in the main studio in Seoul, I was transferred to Ital Design in Turin, Italy. During that time as assistant chief designer, I was responsible for the exterior designs of all the next generation Daewoo passenger cars including Matiz, Ranos, Nubira, Magnus, and A-100 which is the flagship for Daewoo. In January of 2000 I returned to the main studio to run the small Advanced Team which focused on the Fusion concept vehicles including DF-1 and Otto.

In 2004, I joined GM in Warren, Michigan as an interior designer. This gave me the opportunity to broaden my knowledge to include interior design. I worked in the Mid-Size Truck Studio for about a year and then moved to the Cadillac Interior Studio. As a Design Lead, I worked on the next generation of Cadillac products such as ATS, CTS, Flagship concept and production. My contributions pushed the Cadillac aesthetic further while remaining true to the Art and Science philosophy. I also helped develop the Cadillac Cue interface. Currently, I am working on the next generation Buick Lacrosse interior as the Design Manager.

I love all kinds of movies except horror. I usually listen to Hip-Hop in the morning in order to wake up. In the evening after work, listening to Jazz & Classic music helps me relax. I enjoy reading essays, bibliographies and Architecture & Interior related books and magazines.
