Bio
I began working for Lear Corporation as an intern in 1992. I worked at Lear Corporation until 1999 when I was offered a position at General Motors Design Center.
The first program I was a part of was the Chevrolet Avalanche interior. Since then I have had the privilege to contribute to programs such as the Cadillac XLR, C6 Corvette and most recently the Sonic and the 2013 Traverse, Acadia and Enclave -all interior design. One highlight of my career so far was working for GM Daewoo in Seoul, Korea from 2006 -2008. I had the responsibilities to manage the Chevy Sonic interior as well as establish interior component sharing strategies. I still miss all of the good food and especially the good friends I made there!
Hobbies:
Spending time in Korea enabled my family’s favorite hobby which is travelling and sightseeing. My wife and my 6 and 7 year old boys spend all of our free time looking forward to the next trip we have planned- even if the “trip” is just camping in our backyard and roughing it by cooking over a bonfire.
As far as my favorite movie- that seems to change often, however I really liked the original Girl with the Dragon Tattoo trilogy. Regarding my favorite book, I tend to be drawn to military related novels. The book I just finished is called Lone Survivor which was written by a Navy Seal named Marcus Luttrell- I highly recommend it. For my music taste [or lack thereof] I still love my 80’s and 90’s hard rock bands!
