Bio
Born and raised in Milan, Italy, within a creative family involved in interior decoration, painting and photography, Sara's artistic heritage is evident in her natural and self-sufficient approach to design.
During Illustration studies at IED Milan Design School, Sara was chosen by iconic fashion designer Elio Fiorucci, to develop patterns, graphics and apparel collections.
Two years later she started working freelance in advertisement, fashion and publishing: some of her clients included Armani, Benetton, Mattel, Swatch, Unilever, Vogue.
Then Sara's work gradually evolved to interior design and styling turning into a collaboration as Head of Style and R&D dept. at Living Divani www.livingdivani.it, high-end furniture manufacturer art directed by architect Piero Lissoni.
Art in all forms has always been a source of inspiration, as well as everyday life and travels. Sara's instinctual sense of style blooms in her enduring search for harmony: drinking tea from a pretty cup, wearing a self-made bag, noticing exquisite details in all surroundings, looking for things that make the heart beat faster.
Sara is currently Chief Designer of Trend&Design dept. at Alcantara www.alcantara.com, committed with all design and tailor-made projects in fashion, interior and automotive for premium brands.
Encompassing all fields of application is the perfect chance to intertwine various experiences, technical skills and love for materials, with her sleek and urban manner.
