Bio
Lilana is the design manager at Canadian General-Tower, a global leader in manufacturing synthetic automotive seating materials, single-ply roofing membranes, geomembranes and printed swimming pool liners. Lilana oversees all design and research activities at CGT’s Innovation Studio, located in Southfield, Mich.
Responsible for managing the automotive design segment of CGT, Lilana researches global trends, technology, and style, to develop future designs for CGT’s auto interior products. In addition, Lilana works with CGT’s clients in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, organized the company’s bi-annual Design Show.
Since joining CGT in 2007, Lilana has developed product shows and presentations for OEM design studios and helped solidify CGT’s status as a premier automotive supplier.
Before coming to CGT, Lilana was a designer at Ford Motor Company’s Product Development Center, in Dearborn, Mich. There, she was lead color and materials designer for Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products.
