Bio
Born in Seattle, WA in 1962, Guy spent his early years in England (British Parents) before the family moved to Southern California in 1969. Guy is married with two boys and currently resides in Rochester Hills, MI.
Guy previously worked as a lab assistant at JPL and a structural engineer for Continental Airlines while pursuing his degree in Design. He began his career with GM in 1989 and has worked on many Advanced and Production Programs at the Warren Tech Center – NAO Design. In 1997 Guy was sent with his family on a two year assignment at SAAB in Sweden as Lead Interior Designer on the 9-3 Sedan. After returning to NA, he worked as lead on the Cadillac SRX exterior before moving up to Manager on the Buick Centieme Show Car. The next few years were spent developing the Buick Show and Production Enclave exterior followed by the Chevy Traverse and the GMC Acadia Denali. Guy is currently assigned as Design Manager in the Passenger Car Exterior studio which supports/develops small to mid-size cars globally.
Guy’s interests include travel, backpacking, cycling, tennis and table tennis with the family with personal hobbies of painting and recently, R/C airplanes.
Favorite Movie: Any James Bond or Spielberg movie
Favorite Book: Anything from M. Gladwell or C. S. Lewis
